As for the snow removal: This snow blower clears 22 inches of snow in every pass with a maximum depth of 12.5 feet. That’s more than a foot of snow! Oct 31, 2009 · This machine offers a 205cc 4-cycle OHV Briggs and Stratton 800 Snow Series gas engine and it comes with a special notched steel auger and a discharge chute that can rotate up to 190 degrees conveniently and smoothly with just 3.5 cranks. It is a snowblower designed for harsh snow conditions. Snow blowers can generally be divided into two classes: single-stage and two-stage. On a single-stage snow blower, the auger (the paddle mechanism visible from the front) pulls snow into the machine and directs it out of a discharge chute. The auger contacts the ground, making single-stage snow blowers unsuitable for use on unpaved surfaces.

Electric is the way to go honestly. I did my chute rotator with a $99 winch from tractor supply, and a $40 10" Linear Actuator for the deflector. Works absolutely awesome. My Father in Law found it so cool, he had me to the same to his new set up too. Seem to have found the issue. There is a "switch" underneath the control panel that is connected to the chute rotate lever by a piece of wire. Push left, wire pulls chute to left and vice versa. The "right" side did not work. Unscrewed switch and fiddled with it a bit and eventually it did work the chute.
